Pursuing the Dream: Tucson’s Chinese-Owned Grocery Stores

Dr. Howard J. Eng is a native Tucsonan. He is an Associate Professor Emeritus (retired) at the University of Arizona and the president of the Tucson Chinese Senior Citizen Association. He has more than 45 years of working experience in health care and has conducted health services/policy research for more than 30 years. He as been a faculty member at the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Public Health and Pharmacy. Dr. Eng is a Chinese community historian and has worked on three Tucson Chinese history projects. He was selected Pan Asian Community Alliance’s Tucson Pan Asian Man of the Year in 2012.
