Shelby Howard is a field organizer for US Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), a membership-based peace-building organization with members in over 40 countries. The vision of WILPF is to create a world of permanent peace built on feminist foundations of freedom, justice, nonviolence, human rights and equality for all, where people, the planet and all its other inhabitants coexist and flourish in harmony. WILPF was founded in 1915 in response to the First World War.
