Thank You From UNICEF

"One year ago today, the first of two devastating earthquakes struck Nepal. With the United Nations Association of Southern Arizona’s support, UNICEF has made great strides in helping the children of Nepal survive, recover, and maintain hope for a brighter future. We are grateful for the long-standing partnership we have had with your chapter.
I wanted to mark this anniversary by sharing a thank you video with you, narrated by UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom, and you can find more information on UNICEF’s recovery efforts in Nepal at
Thank you to the UNA of Southern Arizona community for helping UNICEF to provide children affected by the earthquake with immediate access to nutrition, water, and education; to reunite unaccompanied children with their families; to vaccinate more than half a million kids against life-threating diseases; and to help Nepal build back stronger than before."
